The Capital One Venture X earns Capital One Miles, and those miles transfer to 22 partners: 18 airlines and 4 hotels. The same partner list applies to every Capital One Miles card - Venture, Venture X, Spark Miles for Business - so whether you hold the premium card or a no-annual-fee version, your transfer options are identical.

Before running through the full list, one thing is worth knowing upfront: not all 22 partners transfer at 1:1. Four of them use less favorable ratios, meaning you receive fewer points in the destination program than you send. Most guides list all partners without flagging this clearly. The breakdown below separates the full-value transfers from the discounted ones so you can plan accordingly.

Hotel Partners

Accor ALL - Accor Live Limitless 2:1 2 business days
Choice Hotels Choice Privileges 1:1 24 hours
I Prefer I Prefer Hotel Rewards 1:2 Instant
Wyndham Wyndham Rewards 1:1 Instant

Bold ratios indicate non-standard transfers. EVA Air, JAL, and JetBlue all cost more Capital One miles than the destination miles you receive. Accor goes the other direction: 2 Capital One miles become 1 Accor point. I Prefer is the only partner that gives you more points than miles sent, at 1:2.

The Non-1:1 Partners: What They Actually Cost You

Four partners are worth understanding before you transfer, because the math is less favorable than it appears on the surface.

Accor Live Limitless at 2:1 means 10,000 Capital One miles become 5,000 Accor points. Accor points have limited redemption value to begin with, and losing half your currency upfront makes this one of the weakest transfers in the program. Unless you have a specific Accor redemption that cannot be funded any other way, this partner is worth skipping entirely.

EVA Air at 4:3 means every 4 Capital One miles become 3 EVA miles. On a 10,000 mile transfer, you walk away with 7,500 EVA miles. EVA Air has a solid long-haul product and Star Alliance connectivity, but starting 25% behind on the ratio means you need a genuinely outstanding redemption to make it worthwhile. The 36-hour transfer time adds to the friction.

JAL at 4:3 follows the same structure. 10,000 Capital One miles become 7,500 JAL miles. JAL Mileage Bank has good redemption value for oneworld awards, but that 25% haircut is significant. If you need JAL miles, American Airlines AAdvantage or Alaska Mileage Plan often price JAL-operated flights at better effective rates without the ratio penalty.

JetBlue at 5:3 is the steepest discount in the airline lineup. 10,000 Capital One miles become just 6,000 JetBlue TrueBlue points. TrueBlue is revenue-based, so those 6,000 points get you roughly $60 in flight credit. That is 0.6 cents per original Capital One mile, which is well below what any of the 1:1 partners can deliver.

Which Capital One Venture X Transfer Partners Are Worth Using?

Tier 1: Best Value

Air Canada Aeroplan is the strongest all-around pick for international travel. Star Alliance business class to Europe runs 55,000–60,000 Aeroplan points one-way with no fuel surcharges on most partner redemptions. The program is well-priced for Air India routes to South Asia and for Japan via ANA. Aeroplan's connections with United and Lufthansa add further flexibility. Transfers from Capital One are instant, which makes it easy to act quickly when award space appears.

Air France / KLM Flying Blue covers SkyTeam partners including Delta. The biggest draw for most travelers is Flying Blue's Promo Rewards sales, which cut prices on specific routes by 20–50% on a rolling basis. Transatlantic business class can drop to 40,000–50,000 miles one-way during a promotion. Even outside of sales, Flying Blue prices well for intra-Europe routes and Delta-operated long-haul flights.

Avianca LifeMiles is a consistent go-to for United-operated business class without paying United's own prices. Business class to Europe through United sits around 63,000 LifeMiles one-way with no fuel surcharges. The program also prices Copa Airlines routes through Central and South America at competitive rates. Capital One's instant transfer makes this one of the more action-ready partners.

Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer is the top pick for Asia-Pacific travel. KrisFlyer covers Singapore's own metal, including the airline's Suites and business class products, and Star Alliance partners. Business class from the US to Singapore runs 91,000–99,000 miles one-way. The fixed award chart means pricing is predictable and you can plan redemptions without worrying about dynamic spikes.

Tier 2: Situational

British Airways Avios is most useful for short-haul flights on American Airlines within the US, where distance-based pricing means sub-1,000 mile routes can cost 7,500 Avios each way. Transferring Capital One miles to BA also opens the Avios ecosystem - those points can move to Iberia or Aer Lingus, both of which offer better pricing on certain transatlantic routes. For long-haul partner awards booked through BA, carrier surcharges can add $200–$400, so check the total fee before committing.

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club has two routes worth knowing: Delta One business class to the US West Coast at 50,000 miles one-way, and Air France long-haul business class at 50,000 miles one-way to Europe. Outside those two corridors, the program is not especially versatile.

Qatar Airways Privilege Club prices oneworld award space well and gives access to Qatar's own QSuite product. The challenge is award space: Qatar's own flights in business class can be limited, especially on transatlantic routes. Worth checking before you transfer, as the availability picture has tightened in recent years.

Etihad Guest covers routes through Abu Dhabi and offers Etihad's own business class, which is competitive. The program has a mixed reputation for award release, but it prices Etihad-operated routes at reasonable rates and provides some access to other oneworld and alliance partners.

Tier 3: Skip Unless You Have a Specific Reason

EVA Air, JAL, and JetBlue are covered in the ratio section above. The combination of unfavorable transfer ratios and limited use cases makes all three weak choices compared to the 1:1 partners.

Accor Live Limitless at 2:1 is not competitive. There are better ways to access hotel stays than giving up half your miles upfront.

Wyndham Rewards and Choice Privileges both cover economy and midscale hotel chains. Wyndham awards typically run 7,500–15,000 points per night for properties where cash rates are $80–$120. Choice is similar. The redemption value per point at both programs is around 0.6–0.8 cents, which is well below what the airline partners can deliver. Neither is worth targeting unless you have a specific road trip itinerary where these brands are the only option at your stops.

I Prefer Hotel Rewards is the one hotel exception worth noting. The 1:2 ratio means Capital One miles double when they land. I Prefer covers independent luxury hotels worldwide and can represent genuine value at the right properties. It is niche but worth exploring if you regularly stay at boutique properties that participate in the program.
