Bilt Rewards has 20 transfer partners: 16 airlines and 4 hotels. Every single one transfers at a 1:1 ratio minimum, and most land in your account instantly. That combination of breadth and speed makes Bilt one of the more useful bank programs for award travel, especially since you can earn points just by paying rent.

What sets Bilt apart from most programs is Rent Day. On the 1st of every month, Bilt typically runs 50–100% transfer bonuses to select partners for a 24-hour window. Time it right and those bonuses can double or even triple the value you squeeze out of your points.

Hotel Partners

Hotel Loyalty Program Transfer Ratio Transfer Time
Hilton Hilton Honors 1:2 Instant
World of Hyatt World of Hyatt 1:1 Instant
IHG Hotels IHG One Rewards 1:2 Instant
Marriott Marriott Bonvoy 1:1 2–7 days

A note on Hilton and IHG: both transfer at 1:2, so 1,000 Bilt points become 2,000 loyalty points. That sounds like a better deal than 1:1, but the per-point value at both programs is low enough that it mostly evens out. The value section below explains why Hyatt at 1:1 still beats them.

Which Bilt Transfer Partners Are Worth Using?

Not all 20 partners are created equal. Here's a breakdown by tier based on cents per point you can realistically get:

Tier 1: Start Here

World of Hyatt is the best hotel transfer partner in Bilt's lineup, and honestly one of the best in any bank program. Category 1–4 properties regularly deliver 1.5–2.5 cents per Bilt point. Go up to Category 7 - Park Hyatt Paris, Maldives properties, top-tier Tokyo hotels - and you're looking at 35,000–40,000 points for rooms that go for $600–$1,000+ a night. If you have a single Hyatt stay on your radar, this is almost always where your Bilt points belong.

Air Canada Aeroplan is the airline partner most points hobbyists reach for first, and for good reason. Star Alliance business class to Europe runs 55,000–60,000 points one-way with no fuel surcharges on most partner redemptions. Aeroplan introduced some dynamic pricing a few years ago but saver-level awards are still there if you search with date flexibility.

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan is one of the most underrated programs in the hobby. The headline move: Cathay Pacific business class to Asia for 50,000 miles one-way, a fixed-price partner award that doesn't exist at this price anywhere else. Finnair business class to Europe through Alaska is another standout. Both deals have survived longer than most people expected.

Tier 2: Situational

British Airways Avios is excellent for short-haul domestic routes and Iberia flights to Spain, where distance-based pricing means sub-1,000 mile segments can cost as little as 7,500 Avios each way. For long-haul partner awards, the picture changes. BA charges fuel surcharges on Cathay Pacific and JAL redemptions that can add $200–$400 to what looked like a cheap award. Short-haul: yes. Long-haul partner awards: check the total fees before you commit.

United MileagePlus is worth knowing for one specific use case: ANA business class to Japan at 88,000 miles round-trip. That deal has survived longer than almost anyone predicted. Beyond that, MileagePlus adds carrier-imposed fees on many Star Alliance redemptions, which chips away at the value.

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club has two sweet spots worth knowing. Delta One business class to the US West Coast at 50,000 miles one-way, and Air France business class to Europe at 50,000 miles one-way. Outside of those two, the program is not especially versatile.

Tier 3: Skip Unless You Have a Specific Reason

Marriott Bonvoy looks reasonable at 1:1 until you see the award prices. A Category 5 Marriott runs 35,000–50,000 points per night, which works out to roughly 0.7–0.9 cents per Bilt point. That is one of the worst conversion rates in the partner list. Hyatt at the same 1:1 ratio gives you 1.5–2.5x more real-world value per point.

Hilton Honors transfers at 1:2 and that ratio feels misleading. Hilton points are worth about 0.5 cents each, so doubling your points doesn't actually double your value. You end up roughly where you started. Hilton's 5th night free promotions can tilt the math slightly, but as a regular strategy it's not where Bilt points should go.

JetBlue TrueBlue is straightforward: revenue-based, points track cash ticket prices with no premium upside. If you fly JetBlue regularly and just need somewhere to park points, fine. But you're not unlocking any extra value that you couldn't get by paying cash.

Current Bilt Transfer Bonuses

Bilt's monthly Rent Day bonuses are the single best reason to hold your points rather than transfer immediately. If there's an active bonus right now, it's shown here:

No active transfer bonuses for this program right now. Check the live bonus tracker for updates.

If nothing is showing, the next Rent Day is your best window. Bilt typically announces bonuses on their Instagram and email a day or two before the 1st. Signing up for the TransferPoints newsletter means you'll get alerted the moment anything goes live.

How to Transfer Bilt Rewards Points

The whole process takes under two minutes and is done entirely online:

  1. Log in to your Bilt account at biltrewards.com
  2. Go to Rewards, then select Transfer Points
  3. Choose your transfer partner from the list
  4. Enter your loyalty program number for the destination account (this is the number for your airline or hotel account, not your Bilt member ID)
  5. Enter how many points you want to transfer
  6. Review and confirm

All airline partners and Hyatt complete instantly. Marriott Bonvoy takes 2–7 days. There are no transfer fees and no minimum beyond 1,000 points for most programs.

One thing to know before you hit confirm: point transfers are permanent. Once your Bilt points move to a partner, there is no way to reverse it. Only transfer when you have a specific award in mind and have already confirmed the availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Bilt Rewards have transfer partners? Bilt has 20 transfer partners: 16 airlines and 4 hotel chains. Every transfer goes at a 1:1 ratio or better, most complete instantly, and Bilt runs monthly Rent Day bonuses that can push those ratios even higher.

What is the best Bilt transfer partner? For hotels, World of Hyatt. It consistently delivers 1.5–2.5 cents per point at mid-range properties and significantly more at top-tier ones. For airlines, Air Canada Aeroplan is the strongest pick for international business class, followed by Alaska Mileage Plan for specific Cathay Pacific and Finnair sweet spots.

How long do Bilt point transfers take? Almost all of them are instant. Every airline partner on the list transfers immediately, as do Hyatt, Hilton, and IHG. The only outlier is Marriott Bonvoy, which takes 2–7 business days.

Does Bilt offer transfer bonuses? Yes, and it's one of the better parts of the program. Bilt runs Rent Day bonuses on the 1st of every month, typically 25–100% extra miles to select partners for 24 hours. Occasional standalone bonuses run outside of Rent Day as well. The live tracker above shows anything currently active.

Can you transfer Bilt points to American Airlines? Yes. American Airlines AAdvantage is a Bilt partner at 1:1 with instant transfers. Bilt is one of the few bank programs that offers a direct transfer to American.

Do Bilt Rewards points expire? Bilt points don't expire as long as your account stays open. The one condition to know: you need at least 5 qualifying transactions on your Bilt card each statement period to earn points on rent. Miss that threshold and you won't earn rent points for that month, but your existing point balance is not affected.

Can you transfer Bilt points to Delta? Delta SkyMiles is not a Bilt transfer partner. The workaround most people use is transferring Bilt points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and booking Delta One awards from there. Delta One to the US West Coast runs 50,000 Virgin Atlantic miles one-way, which is solid value for the right trip.
